Serendipity 3 · New York

Serendipity 3 · New York

Serendipity 3 is a cultural hotspot founded in 1954, where celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis were loyal regulars. Throughout this legendary restaurant in New York, PoliLam's HPL is used extensively as the foundation.

To demonstrate its root in artwork and antique trading, Serendipity 3 likes to use popping colors and colorful decors. Under layers and layers of color, just like layers of ice cream scoops, PoliLam's C0325 | Pink Rhapsody was used on walls and cabinetry, defining the overall impression as pink despite of those diversified "topings". The perfect level of shade glues every element together and keeps them from being overwhelming, meanwhile maintaining the emotional vibe.

C0372 | Teal and C0060 | Candy Apple were used to characterize more areas, so that the space could have more than one type of emotion. They are both less saturated than Pink Rhapsody, which in this case becomes more present as they contrast the rest of the environment.

Apart from PoliLam's vibrant color options, the underlying assumption is the surface's durability in a high-traffic, frequently cleaned area.
